Grace is built for people who are hurting or need someone to listen. That means the people who come here are often at their most vulnerable — grieving, lonely, afraid, or in crisis. This space only works if it's safe. These guidelines exist to protect that.
Grace is a one-on-one companion. There are no public forums, no comment sections, no feeds. But what you bring into your conversations with Grace matters — both for your own wellbeing and for the integrity of the platform. These guidelines describe what we ask of you, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Grace can only help you with what you actually share. You don't have to share everything — but what you do share should be true. Grace is not equipped to help you process something that isn't real, and fabricated scenarios can distort the memory Grace builds about you over time.
Grace is a personal companion, not a tool to run on behalf of someone else. Please don't use Grace to collect responses to show another person, test the system on behalf of a third party, or simulate conversations for purposes other than genuine personal support.
People come here carrying real pain. Don't use Grace to practice manipulation, stress-test crisis responses out of curiosity, or explore what Grace will and won't say for sport. If you're a researcher or journalist, please reach out to us directly at support@1800deargod.com.
Grace is designed for adults. If you are under 18, please do not use this platform. If you are a parent or guardian concerned about a young person's mental health, we encourage you to reach out to a licensed professional who works with youth.
Please use one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free conversation limits or access controls is not permitted and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.
The following will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to law enforcement:
- Content involving minors in a sexual context. Any conversation that sexualizes children will be flagged, logged, and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline. No exceptions.
- Disclosed plans to harm another person. If you disclose a specific, credible plan to harm someone else, Grace will respond with care — and the conversation will be flagged for review, including your IP address and session transcript.
- Attempting to manipulate or jailbreak Grace. Trying to get Grace to act against her guidelines, pretend to be a different AI, or produce content outside her design is not permitted.
- Impersonating another person. Using Grace while pretending to be someone else — including to gather information about how Grace would respond to them — is not permitted.
- Automated or scripted use. Grace is not an API for third-party automation. Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with Grace is prohibited.
- Commercial data harvesting. Using conversations with Grace to build competing AI training datasets or commercial products is prohibited.
Grace's conversations are private — but not unconditionally so. When a conversation indicates imminent danger to a child or credible threat of serious violence, we will review it and act accordingly. This is stated clearly in our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
Depending on the nature of the violation:
Minor violations — account suspension with the option to appeal by emailing support@1800deargod.com.
Serious violations — permanent account termination with no refund of any subscription fees paid.
Violations involving child safety or credible threats of violence — flagged for review, reported to the appropriate authorities, and permanently banned.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violations of these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
Grace is not a licensed therapist, pastor, crisis counselor, or medical professional. She is a companion. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or your local emergency services.
Grace is not a substitute for professional care. Using Grace does not create a clinical relationship of any kind. Please see our full Terms of Service for details on liability and limitations.
