Grace uses only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to make the app work. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that follow you around the internet. Grace is a place to be heard — not a place to be watched.
A cookie is a small piece of text that a website stores on your device. It lets the site remember things — like whether you're signed in — so you don't have to start over every time you visit.
Some cookies are necessary for basic functionality. Others are used for advertising or tracking purposes. We use only the first kind.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-auth-token | Keeps you signed in via Google OAuth through Supabase. Without this cookie, you would be signed out every time you close your browser. | Session / up to 1 year |
| grace_device_id | Stores a local identifier so Grace can recognize your device and connect you to your conversation history when you return. This is stored in your browser's local storage, not a traditional cookie. | Persistent |
| grace_session | Tracks the current conversation session so Grace can maintain context within a single visit. | Session |
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking tools.
Grace uses the following third-party services, which may set their own cookies or tokens as part of their operation:
Supabase — handles authentication (Google sign-in). Supabase sets a session token when you sign in with Google. This is required for your account to work. See Supabase's privacy policy.
Google OAuth — powers the "Sign in with Google" button. Google may set cookies as part of the authentication flow. See Google's privacy policy.
Neither of these services is used to serve you ads or track your behavior outside of 1800DearGod.com.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies at any time. If you block the authentication cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in to your Grace account.
You can also use Grace anonymously — without creating an account — in which case only the session cookie and device ID are used. No personal information is collected.
To delete your data entirely, contact us at support@1800deargod.com or visit our account deletion page.
If we ever add cookies or change how we use them, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. We will never add advertising or tracking cookies without telling you first.
